Yellowstone Lake

Those looking for a true fishermen’s paradise will enjoy fishing at Yellowstone Lake. Located in Yellowstone National Park, this 89,000-acre lake is a great place for the fisherman who appreciates a truly beautiful fishing location. Here you’ll find majestic mountains, thick forests and 110 miles of glorious shoreline. While there are only two species of trout here – cutthroat and lake – the scenery more than makes up for it. You can either bring your own boat, which you can launch at the Grant Village boat launch, or simply rent a kayak, canoe, or power boat. The shoreline can be a bit difficult to access, but once there, provides excellent fishing. For information on fishing, boating, and camping regulations, contact Yellowstone National Park.
